Sponsorship Opportunities

We invite you to support our work even as you highlight yours!

AGS supporters include paid members, commercial sponsors, non-commercial sponsors, exhibitors, and virtual exhibitors who support the financial health of our non-profit organization by contributing to offset the expenses for the projects (such as our newsletter and website), scholarships, events (meetings, conferences, etc) and general operations.

If any project includes the granting of continuing education credits/units, AGS and certifying organizations will be required to vet sponsors to ensure there are no conflicts of interest and to obtain any necessary written agreements. Commercial sponsors, exhibitors, and virtual exhibitors will not be involved in the planning of any continuing education activity. If a non-commercial interest organization provides financial or in-kind support and is involved in the planning of educational activity, it is considered a “joint provider” and should be recognized as such, and a written and signed Joint Provider Agreement must be completed.

Sponsorship and exhibitor fees may vary according to the terms of the project, event, or program. Commercial and non-commercial sponsors, exhibitors, and virtual exhibitors holding an individual/professional or business/organizational AGS membership will receive a discounted rate for their support.

Sponsor Types

Sponsors and exhibitors are invited to participate as follows:

Commercial Sponsor

Commercial sponsors are commercial interest entities that produce, market, resell or distribute healthcare goods or services consumed or used by older adults and their families, or entities owned or controlled by commercial entities which do the same. Commercial sponsors may provide financial or in-kind contributions used to pay for all or part of an activity or project. Commercial sponsors are required to have a signed and dated written commercial support agreement with AGS outlining the terms of acceptance for the support provided. Nonprofit and government organizations, non-healthcare-related companies, and healthcare facilities are exceptions and are not considered to be commercial sponsors.

Non-commercial Sponsor

A non-commercial sponsor is a person or organization that does not meet the definition of a commercial sponsor (see above), and that provides financial or in-kind contributions which help pay the cost of an event or project in return for special recognitions at the event or relating to the project.

Exhibitor

A person, business, or organization that pays for space and a table at in-person events to market their products, technology, or services that offer solutions for families, professionals, and others who care for persons who are elderly, disabled or dying, or who seek resources or to educate themselves in preparation for the future. Depending on the program or event, fees for exhibitor spaces may vary.

Virtual exhibitor

A person, business, or organization that pays for online space to alert virtual conference attendees about their products, technology, or services that offer solutions for families, professionals, and others who care for persons who are elderly, disabled or dying, or who seek resources or to educate themselves in preparation for the future. During the virtual presentation, AGS will broadcast your slide, and also promote your organization on the AGS website and/or newsletter.
