AGS Members

AGS members include individuals and organizations from academic, practice, and general communities. Some work in fields such as medicine, nursing, allied health, social work, academia, ministry, rehabilitation, health promotion, business, and public policy. Others are individuals and caregivers from general communities. This diverse membership encourages the effective exchange of information and ideas about issues and policies affecting older Arkansans. *NOTE: Due to the impact of the coronavirus, meetings are currently virtual.


ANNUAL DUES & MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES 

  • Individual/professional membership - $50

  • Student membership - $25

  • Not working/retired membership - $25

  • Annual membership is from April 1 to March 31.

  • New memberships received after December 1 are valid until March 31 of the following year.


Volunteer

We invite you to help make Arkansas a better place to grow old. Here are some ways you can share your expertise: 

  • Programs – Help plan and coordinate continuing education programs, including webinars, conferences, and members’ meetings

  • Communications – Help promote our educational programs and activities, and/or contribute to our newsletter and blog activities.

  • Scholarships & Awards – Help promote and facilitate our student scholarship program and awards.

  • Organizational leadership – Ensure effective, ongoing education, networking, and advocacy by joining our Board of Advisors

  • Membership – Promote AGS and its benefits to attract new members and sponsors.
